A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF MOUNDRIDGE, KANSAS, FROM K.S.A. 1980 SUPPLEMENT, 75-1120a, WHICH REQUIRES CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES TO MAINTAIN FIXED ASSET RECORDS.

WHEREAS, K.S.A. 1980 Supplement, 75-1120a requiring certain municipalities of the State of Kansas to maintain fixed asset records does not apply uniformly to all municipalities of the State of Kansas, and WHEREAS the city of Moundridge, Kansas, wishes to exempt itself from said provisions,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOUNDRIDGE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City of Moundridge, Kansas, a mayor-council City of the third class, by the power invested in it by Article 12, section 5, of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to and does exempt itself from the provision of K.S.A. 1980 Supplement, 75-1120a and makes inapplicable to said city that portion of said statue which would otherwise require said city to maintain fixed asset records.
