A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE LIBRARY OF THE CITY OF MOUNDRIDGE, KANSAS, FROM K.S.A. 79-1953, LIMITATION ON TAX LEVIES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOUNDRIDGE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City of Moundridge, Kansas by the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby exempts the City Library from and make inapplicable to it K.S.A. 79-1953 which provision is a part of the “Limitation on Tax Levies” law.

SECTION 2. Charter Ordinance No. 5 and any other ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed.
