A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF MOUNDRIDGE, KANSAS FROM K.S.A. 12-4112, REGARDING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED IN MUNICIPAL COURT PROCEEDINGS AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF SUBSTITUTE PROVISIONS THEREFORE.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOUNDRIDGE, KANSAS:

SECTION I.

The City of Moundridge, Kansas, a City of the third class, by virtue of the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5, of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to and does exempt itself and make inapplicable to the provisions of K.S.A. 12-4112, which statute is an enactment of provisions not uniformly applicable to all cities within the State.

SECTION II.

The Governing Body of the City of Moundridge, Kansas, is hereby authorized to adopt by ordinary ordinance a schedule of fees and costs to be imposed by the municipal court and to provide in the same manner for the collection and disposition of fees and costs collected pursuant to any other such ordinary ordinance.
